At her school, we do Student Led Conference every quarter of the school year. At this time, students present their portfolios to their parents, and teachers give feedback.
Her homeroom teacher was very generous on providing observations about her.
Summer consistently excel academically. Yes. We’re very happy and proud to know that.👏🏻👏🏻
But what made us so delighted was when we learned about her disposition. 💖
Our character is what we do when we think no one is looking.
The best reward I can get is to see my children growing up to have grateful hearts and to be good people.
It’s hard. Really hard to be a parent, it requires a change of lifestyle and mindset, and excessive efforts, but it’s the most rewarding thing ever.
Children learn more from what you are than what you teach.
I’m happy to know that even when we’re not with her, she carries our family values. We always tell them not to be confused (because Summer sometimes ask why other kids say this, other kids do this) and just stick to our family rules.
At the start of the year, they’ve witnessed my decluttering. They were aware that they have so much and it’s not mindful to get some more.
So, up-to-date, we haven’t bought a toy or anything extra. Autumn will sometimes try, but we just have to remind her rhen, that’s it.😉
Summer and I went to National Bookstore Sale today, and I was so amazed by her self-control. Sharpies, washytapes, notebooks, etc. were all over but she knows she’s not gonna get one (she can actually sell ) because she has a lot. I actually told her to get 2 if she really likes, but she said “No nalang, I’ll just get books” 😬☺️
I am grateful because I have a daughter like Summer.
And this is one of the many reasons why I want to share Annechronicles with you.
Acknowledge and receive the many blessings you already have (your spouse, your children, your mom, dad, siblings, friends) first, then gratefulness will instinctively come after. ☺️✨
Remember, you are already blessed!😉
Thanks for reading this.😘
I am Anne. A wife, mother, entrepreneur, and healer.
In the past years, I have actively shared bits and pieces of my life to friends and families on social media. In my posts, I have shared: the joys I experienced as a wife and a mother, my adventures in the kitchen, places we go to, people I meet, and positive things that I have discovered, read or learned. I believe that by sharing the many different ways I am blessed through my experiences, I become a blessing to others who learn from those experiences.
At the start of this year (2019), I felt a special mission from my inner self to widen my audience. I thought that I should be a blessing to more than just my families and friends. I was scared at the initial concept, but I was determined to do it, and so I launched this blog - Anne Chronicles.
I hope that by sharing Anne Chronicles, we reap the benefits of growing and learning together.
